The presence of E.Coli and / or Coliforms is generally considered to be an indicator of faecal contamination in water.

• A simple method to detect these microorganisms: a clear shift in the environment
purple to yellow occurs in the presence of these germs
• Very good sensitivity: an independent study has shown that the Coliforms test
is able to detect less than 1 CFU / cm² in 18 hours on a wet surface
• Sampling carried out by swabbing = better recovery of germs and
access to hard-to-clean areas
• No additional material
• Storage at room temperature
• Longer shelf life than a contact box
